Habanero Mexican Fare, the independently owned and operated restaurant located in Clifton's Gas Light District has expanded to Newport on the Levee. Habanero is very similar in feel and menu to the Clifton location with a few changes. "We want to replicate the independent feel of a casual Mexican restaurant with Latin influences as much as possible, while continuing to showcase our fantastic array of daily-made salsas and sauces," says Chef and Owner, Max Monks. "People can definitely expect to see Habanero favorites such as the Mad Max Fish Burrito and Magno-Jalapeno Salsa when they dine here." Draft and imported beer, wine and traditional Spanish Sangria will be served along with fresh fruit smoothies.
Habanero Mexican Fare is open Sunday - Thursday from 11 a.m. - 9 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.
