Newport on the Levee presents the Bud Light LIVE at the Levee Summer Concert Series! Held on the Plaza by the Aquarium at Newport on the Levee, these concerts take place every Thursday night, May 23 through September 5 (excluding July 4) 7:00 PM - 10:00 PM!

May 30 Naked Karate Girls  
 

The Naked Karate Girls is a band of four “city slickers” from Cincinnati, OH. They are a professional Las Vegas style dance/rock show band. The Naked Karate Girls will be sure to entertain you through their music, choreography, costumes, and props.

June 6  Sunburners  
The group is dedicated to delivering a high energy stage show that will whisk you away to your favorite beach party spot. The group combines authentic "steel drums," great vocals and a killer backing band to create one of the most unique party band sounds in existence! Add that to the groups fun-loving attitude, hilarious props and audience participation and you'll find that The SunBurners are able to make even the biggest landlubbers party the night away! One of their most regular spots is at Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville in Nashville, TN.
June 13  Soul Pocket  
 

Soul Pocket is one of Cincinnati’s most requested bands! They are a three piece brass section and a rhythm section that will entertain you with the sounds of Motown, R&B, Soul, Disco, Funk and Rock. Soul Pocket was voted “Best in City” by Cincinnati Magazine in 2010.

June 20  Newbees    The Newbees are sure to deliver an old school pop-rock sound with a modern twist full of high energy. The band was a finalist for “Best Live Act” at the 2013 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards. City Beat declares, “with their impeccable musicianship and vocal abilities, The Newbees sound better in concert than most bands do on their carefully constructed recordings.”

 The Menus
   The Menus were formed in 1983 in drummer Brandon Ryan’s family basement, on the west side of town in Cincinnati, OH. Winning many local awards and filling every bar on a no less than a five nights a week work schedule, The Menus built a loyal fan base and their earlier natural chemistry ignited even more. The Menus are one of the most popular bands in the Cincinnati area that play cover songs of classic hits and will be sure to entertain you with their wacky outfits and high energy.
July 11 500 Miles to Memphis    500 Miles To Memphis has received international praise for their ability to satisfy the musical hunger of fans in both country and alternative/punk genres. Their new live album was produced by platinum award-winning producer, Erwin Musper. Their previous studio release, "Sunshine In A Shotglass" on the Deep Elm indie label also produced by Erwin Musper, yielded 500 Miles To Memphis tremendous success for the use of their songs in television, from placements on MTV's Nitro Circus and American Movie Classics (AMC) to being featured in countless YouTube "extreme sports" videos by athletes such as Travis Pastrana. Their song "All My Friends Are Crazy" is now part of the Rock Band video game. 500 Miles To Memphis has also received the praise of music journalists worldwide. Most recently they won “Best Live Act” at the 2013 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards.
July 18 Randy McAllister   This Grammy nominated artist is one of the premier singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist to emerge from Texas. Heartbreak, humor, high hair and tall Texas tales all play a part in the song writing of Randy McAllister. His music has been hailed as some of the most original and innovative being made today. McAllister has released ten critically praised all built on a firm foundation that is his songwriting.
July 25 Cincy Brass   "N'awlins Soul Meets Cincinnati Funk" - That is the best way to describe The Cincy Brass. Whether it’s an original off of their upcoming debut album, a mind-blowing twist on a cover of a pop hit (Beyonce, James Brown, Def Leppard, Lady Gaga, George Michaels, etc). The band has exploded onto the scene in the past two years, performing at some of Cincinnati’s hippest music venues and biggest festivals. Cincy Brass has opened for acts such as 311, Sublime, Foreigner, Blessed Union of Souls and Journey. Most recently they won in the “Best R&B/Funk/Soul Artist” category at the 2013 Cincinnati Entertainment Awards.

August 8  DV8    DV8 is Cincinnati’s premiere rock, dance and party band. Comprised of seven of Greater Cincinnati’s most talented musicians and vocalists, DV8 focuses on the great music you remember – music you can rock and groove to – from the 80′s to today. DV8 has opened for a multitude of national acts such as Eddie Money, Little River Band, Yoso (members of Yes and Toto), Loverboy, John Waite (The Baby’s), Starship, Pure Prairie League, Lou Gramm, The Gin Blossoms, Styx and Atlanta Rhythm Section just to name a few.
 August 15 Jared Mahone   The Jared Mahone Band is a groove-driven acoustic pop trio with gospel, folk, blues, rock undertones and is based out of Columbus, OH. Their writing and tone have been compared to contemporaries like John Mayer and Gavin Degraw. Their latest release, “Mixtape”, has received great feedback from music lovers. Jared Mahone has most recently opened for big named artist O.A.R. and has been signed by Fieldhouse music, a devision of BMG/Chrysalis.

August 29  Whammies   Based out of Cincinnati, Ohio, The Whammies will entertain you with the best music from the 80's. The Whammies have played at some of the finest events, bars, weddings, and corporate parties in Ohio, Indiana, and Kentucky. Now entering their 7th year as a band they hope to find a healthy future for themselves and all of their friends and loyal fans.
