Newport Street Closures

 

8:00 AM	Riverboat Row Columbia St below 4th 3rd St Betweek York And Columbia becomes one-way eastbound only
5:00 PM	Purple People Bridge Closed to pedestrians
6:00 PM	Taylor/Southgate Bridge Vehicle Access (closes to pedestrians at 7:30 PM)
7:00 PM	No parking on Monmouth Street
7:30 PM	Cowens Drive Taylor/Southgate Bridge Pedestrian Access I-471 Route 8 Exit Ramps Monmouth Street from 3rd to 11th streets 10th St between Saratoga & York
8:30 PM	4th Street Bridge to Covington All traffic will be directed south on Central Ave (Rt 9) to 12th Street bridge and will follow 12th St to I-275

  

Important Notes

• I-471 Northbound will remain open throughout the event.  Do not attempt to park on I-471 or the bridge to view the fireworks.  You will be cited and your vehicle will be towed.
   
• At approximately 9:15 PM Monmouth St will reopen and change to one-way southbound to send all traffic south on US 27 to I-471
   
• All traffic using Route 8 after the event will be sent onto I-471 North or South as well
   
• After the event the NKU buses will stage at the Route 8 entrance ramp to I-471 southbound for everyone that arrived on those buses
